About

Hello

Here are a few paragraphs about this blog and about me.

About this blog:

This blog aims to provide an independent view of the Korean games industry.

It delivers a combination of original content and collection of existing information consolidated on one website. The majority of visitors to this site are from outside of South Korea seeking information about the Korean games industry.

I started this blog in February 2009, after I was a guest at the national finals of the World Cyber Games in Seoul 2008. Thank you KSB :)

There is still much about the Korean games industry that I have not explored and experienced yet, and since I moved to Korea this blog will act as a log for my deep dive experience into the insights of the Korean games industry.

About me:

I successfully published games in several new territories, however Korea was a silent warrior within its own boarders.

In the late nineties I started my professional career in computer games development and design. With a variety of internationally published games on the belt I moved to a games product management role.
Involved in the commercial machinery I later became the EMEA Marketing & PR manager at a mammoth games publisher and entertainment conglomerate.
Later I was hired by the largest news agency in the world to manage the company’s developer relations for around three years internationally.
And now … I’m back in the game ^_^

You can also track my latest whereabouts on the KoreaGames Twitter.

Happy reading!
